Teacher Gets Frustrated With Student’s Dumb Answers

A teacher will tell you that teaching can have its ups and downs.

Some days they can become frustrated by misbehaving children while there are other times when they get to experience opening a child’s mind to something new. And then there are those precious moments when the child actually teaches them something new. Of course, it takes a lot of humility on the part of the teacher, but if they are willing to listen, they can find children to be very instructive. Such was the case with this teacher, who became annoyed at a student over the answers he was giving her in class that day. In the end, we find out that the child had a good reason for his answers, and it was hilarious.

Teacher: “If I gave you two cats and another two cats and then another two, how many would you have?”

Johnny: “Seven!”

Teacher: “No, no, listen carefully… If I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?”

Johnny: “Seven.”

Gets frustrated The teacher rubs her temples and takes a deep breath.

Teacher: “Come on, Johnny, you’re better than this. Let me put it to you differently. If I gave you two apples, and another two apples and another two, how many would you have?”

Johnny: “Six.”

Teacher: “Good. Now, if I gave you two cats, and another two cats and then another two, how many would you have?”

Johnny: “Seven!”

Teacher: “Johnny, where in the heck do you get seven from?!?”

Johnny: “Because I’ve already got a freaking cat!”
